Jody Moore is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from Grand Canyon University. Jody has a passion for helping individuals overcome adversity and traumatic life experiences. She has been practicing therapy since 2020. In her practice, Jody utilizes a trauma-focused approach, integrating techniques from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, inner child work, Post Induction Therapy, EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to address past traumas and empower clients to reclaim their lives. Jody has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Jody utilizes a whole-body approach to therapy, and this reflects in her commitment to assisting her clients explore all aspects of their lives in order to break the maladaptive cycle(s) they may have found themselves in.
In her free time, Jody enjoys spending time with her husband, children and their 10 grandchildren. She also enjoys creating safe/calm spaces for self and others, watching Psych and The Big Bang Theory, baking and cooking, camping, being near water, traveling, playing cards and board games, and laughter. Jody is originally from Chicago, Illinois but has lived in the Phoenix Metro area for many years.
