Psychiatry Services And Medication Management

Integrated Collaborative Healthcare

Psychiatry and Medication Management

There are many reasons that you might seek psychiatric help, such as, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, hearing voices, feeling a sense of hopelessness, feeling out of control, or having difficulty functioning in everyday life. Whatever the reason, our Arizona psychiatric health providers will work with you and other team members to make sure that all of your psychiatric needs are met.

Psychiatric Services Include

  • Psychiatric Evaluation
  • Psychiatric Medication Management
  • Medication-assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Integrated Care Coordination

What Does the Psychiatric Care Process Look Like?

In an initial assessment, you will be asked questions about your medical history, family history, psychiatric history, personal and family life, and general lifestyle. The initial assessment, completed by our behavioral health team, allows the psychiatric provider to understand your current concerns, your past problems, and what treatments have or have not worked for you previously. It will help to identify if psychiatry is indeed the correct treatment route for you.

The psychiatric evaluation will assess your emotional, behavioral, and physical needs in much greater depth than the initial assessment. Our psychiatrists use this evaluation when diagnosing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

If medication is part of your treatment plan, we will prescribe it for a trial period with our psychiatric medication management services. This helps us to observe the effectiveness of the medication and ensure it is the correct treatment for you. At Denova, we believe in a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Even if medication is prescribed, it will not be the only tool we use to help you manage your mental health conditions. Your care and quality of life is at the core of our treatment approach. Additionally to our psychiatric medication management, we provide Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), a medication program combined with behavioral health therapies to treat substance use disorder.

Our integrated approach allows our psychiatrists, mental health therapists, and primary care physicians to consider all aspects of your overall health and decide on next steps.

At Denova Collaborative Health, we offer an integrated approach to the medical needs of both the body and mind. With multiple locations throughout Arizona and online virtually, we are easily accessible. In addition to psychiatry services and psychiatric medication management, we offer a range of primary care services including pediatric care, lab tests, therapy, and virtual care.
