According to Mental Health America, Arizona is ranked 49th in the country indicating a higher prevalence of mental illness and lower rates of access to care. Arizona demonstrated some of the higher rates of mental illness, substance abuse, suicide, underage drinking and opioid overdoses in the country. However, in view of this crisis wracking our state, denova Collaborative Healthcare’s Addiction Treatment Program is taking a unique and innovative approach to overcome this stigma and help improve mental healthcare amongst their patients.
