Raina is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She received Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology and Bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. Raina has an experience of internship and training, working with children, adolescents, adult individuals, and couples. Based on her experiences and interest in attachment-based treatments, she emphasizes the role that major relationships play in forming the mental and emotional foundations. In addition, she combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in belief that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other.
Raina was born and raised in South Korea, until she moved to Phoenix, AZ in early teen year. She is able to speak in conversational Korean fluently therefore. This dual culture experience has led her to appreciate different cultural backgrounds and values each individual has. On the other hand, she enjoys simple things in life like walking, reading, eating good foods, spending time with friends, and going to grocery stores. If she had extra time, she would not mind walking through every aisle in the grocery store for entertainment. Her favorite way to end her day, though, is to spend quality time with her husband and daughter.
