Maureen Seifert, LPC

Maureen Seifert is an Arizona native who earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Maureen is a licensed associate counselor and is trained in EMDR therapy. She is experienced in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, relationship and parenting issues, PTSD, and other trauma disorders.

Maureen draws from several modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and EMDR, to help people remove obstacles and clear a path to become their best selves. In addition, she takes a trauma-informed approach to care, meaning the focus is not only on the behavior someone is trying to change – but also on the underlying reasons for the behavior.

In her free time, Maureen enjoys exploring the beauty of her home state. One of her hobbies is painting inspirational art on rocks and hiding them for others to discover and enjoy.
