Mary Brownlie, LPC, BC-TMH

Mary completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University.  Mary went on to finish her Master of Arts in Counseling at Northern Arizona University.  Mary has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since September of 2019 and has enjoyed serving families throughout Arizona since 2015.  

Mary first started her career working in community mental health and her expertise is in working with high-trauma populations.  Mary has extensive experience with individuals who struggle with substance abuse, chronic childhood trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, complex PTSD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and relationship conflict and communication difficulties.  Mary uses a compassionate, person-centered approach that emphasizes client safety and comfort.  Mary also has experience with DBT, CBT, and trauma-focused therapies.  

 Mary is an Arizona native who loves to hike and exercise outdoors during the cooler months.  Mary has two children, is married to her high school sweetheart, and is also a mom to her three dogs, two cats, and one stubborn and feisty pot-bellied pig.
