Katherine Bear, FNP

Katie received her nursing license in Iowa, where she is from. She grew up working on a farm and learned from a very young age the importance of a strong work ethic. She moved to Arizona in 2005 where she completed her Bachelor’s in Science at Grand Canyon University and worked as a Trauma ICU nurse. She graduated in 2019 from University of Phoenix with her MSN/FNP and started working to improve the health of the community.

When Katie was a teenager, her grandmother grandma was diagnosed breast cancer, and she had a team of amazing nurses and providers who took extraordinary care of her. Katie admired their passion and that is when she knew she wanted to get into healthcare and make an impact.

She believes that every person is unique individual, and no one will have the same health concerns and needs. She wants her patients to know that she is here for them, she will give them all her time and will listen to everything they have to say. She wants her patients to have a positive experience and help improve their quality of life.

She is 100 percent committed to her work and her team, but when she is home, it’s all family time. In her free time, she enjoys camping and traveling with her husband, son and dogs.
