Elizabeth Mazhuvencherry, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Elizabeth Mazhuvencherry was born and raised in Calcutta, India and has several years of experience as a registered nurse working in ICU, NICU, maternal newborn and inpatient geriatric psychiatric units. She is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who obtained her doctorate from Arizona State University’s Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.

As an nurse practitioner, she believes that every individual is unique, and she works with clients, assessing bio-psycho-social factors with focus on trauma that contribute to mental processes. In her patient care she is passionate about imparting an understanding of multiple human strengths, positive emotions, distress tolerance and the use of cognitive strategies to overcome stress.

She enjoys travelling, gardening, and fun activities with her daughter during leisure.
