Vanessa Alfaro is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) and has been practicing in Arizona since 2021. She has a Doctorate degree from University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BSN) from University of West Florida. Vanessa’s experience includes working as a medical- surgical nurse where she developed her interest in mental health while serving 9.5 years in the United States Air Force. She provides psychiatric care, diagnosing, and prescribing when appropriate for adult patients. Outside of work she enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter, hiking, traveling, and staying active.
