Natalia Sheesley, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Natalia Sheesley, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in providing outpatient psychiatric care for adults. Dr. Sheesley has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disturbances, Postpartum Depression, focus and attention problems, psychotic disorders, and sleeping difficulties. She has experience and passion for working with the LGBTQ community. Dr. Sheesley provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, personalized follow-up care and medication management.

Dr. Sheesley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University where she graduated summa cum laude, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Arizona State University. She has gained a wealth of clinical experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds at inpatient psychiatric hospitals, most recently at St. Luke’s Behavioral Hospital. Providing direct patient care has solidified her beliefs that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to mental healthcare.

Seeing each person as unique, Dr. Sheesley tailor’s treatment to meet the needs of clients where they are in their lives. She creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment based on empathy, trust, and kindness. Committed to treating clients with respect, dignity and compassion, Dr. Sheesley believes that providing care is the greatest privilege that should never be taken for granted. In her spare time, Dr. Sheesley enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, reading, learning new languages, spending time with her family, friends and two cats, and planning her next adventure to see the world. Originally from a quiet little town in Russia, Dr. Sheesley has enjoyed the warm Arizona sun and its beautiful sunsets for over twenty years.
