Dr. Kristen Ray has worked in a variety of roles as a healthcare practitioner, including counselor, clinical director, adjunct faculty, and integrated mental health consultant.
Dr. Ray is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Doctor of Behavioral Health, and she is Board Certified in Tele-Mental Health. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and both her Master’s in Counseling and her Doctorate of Behavioral Health at Arizona State University. She is also currently studying to become certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Ray has worked with children and adults individually, in groups, and with their families. Her areas of experience include integrated behavioral health, clinical outcomes, public health, trauma, abuse, and women’s issues. In her role as the Vice President of Wellness at denova, she develops and customizes clinical services for employer groups including the denova Wellness and Counseling Program.
In her spare time, Dr. Ray enjoys yoga, hiking, and travel. She is most happy sitting on the patio enjoying the Arizona sun and a good book.
