POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Supervisor assists the Vice President of Behavioral Health and Site Clinical Director in the overall daily clinical and administrative operations of their program and supervisees. This role provides leadership and oversight to clinicians, direct client services, and program development.

The Lighthouse Project is a relationship based program that works with complex high needs adolescents and their families. Lighthouse therapists are in constant collaboration as a team working with a community of youth to insure consistency across all modalities of services including individual, family, and group therapy as well as youth community meetings.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with the VP of Behavioral Health, Director of Behavioral Health Operations, Site Behavioral Health Clinical Director to meet the objectives of the clinical services at denova.
  • Reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Operations.
  • Coordinates the hiring of new clinicians and assists in onboarding and training.
  • Ensures compliance of supervised staff is up to date based on program specifications.
  • Provides clinical supervision to a team of 10-14 clinicians (not to include more than 10 intern/associate clinicians) working in office and/or virtually accordance with ethical, AZBBHE, and denova guidelines.
  • Reviews, signs, and maintains documentation per guidelines.
  • Assists in developing and implementing program curriculum.
  • Provides clinical services to small caseload of clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

  • Requires a degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field with a current independent Arizona license from the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology and a current license issued by the Arizona Board of Psychology Examiners.
  • One to three years’ experience preferred.
  • Inclusion on the AZBBHE clinical supervisor registry or eligibility for registry. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with providing services virtually preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and work independently.
  • Ability to assess developmental level of clinician and provide appropriate supervision.
