Adding Launcher Tutorial / Part 5

With the Launcher dialog box still open and the Advanced tab showing,

  1. Remove check marks from any platforms that you do not want this launcher installed.
  2. If your application requires command line arguments, then enter them here. You can use built in variables to represent the install directory, user home directory, etc.
  3. Usually, you should leave the working directory field blank and it will default to the installation directory. If you do want a launcher to have a starting directory other than the install directory, then fill it in.
  4. If this launcher is for a Java app and you want the console visible when the app runs, then add a check mark to the Show console box.
  5. If this launcher will be installed on Unix computers, then remove check marks from any the GUI boxes where you don't want a desktop icon added.
  6. If this launcher will be installed on Unix computers, then you can enter a script name, otherwise JExpress will use an abbreviated version of the display name.
  7. When you're happy with all the settings on both tabs (Basic and Advanced), then click OK and you're done.
